At its 17/3 meeting on 9 August 2017, Academic Board resolved that the Academic Administration committee be disestablished with immediate effect (AB/17-3/51.10).

The functions performed by the committee were deemed no longer required by Academic Board, as the policy development work for research matters rests with Research and Research Training Committee; teaching and learning matters rests with Teaching and Learning Committee; and graduate research matters rests with Graduate Research School Board.
