UTS elections in 2018

Elections are held to fill a range of membership positions on UTS boards and committees, including staff or student positions on Council, Academic Board, and faculty boards and committees associated with these bodies.

Staff elections

In 2018, staff can stand as candidates and vote in elections for Council, Academic Board and its committees, faculty boards and the Promotions Committee.

Nominations are open from Tuesday 14 August to 3pm, Tuesday 28 August 2018.

Voting is open from Tuesday 18 September to 3pm, Wednesday 3 October 2018.

Student elections

In 2018, students can stand as candidates and vote in elections for Council, Academic Board and its committees, faculty boards and ActivateUTS.

Nominations open from Tuesday 14 August to 3pm, Tuesday 28 August 2018.

Voting is open from Tuesday 18 September to 3pm, Wednesday 3 October 2018*.

*Voting in the ActivateUTS election closes at 3pm on Tuesday 25 September 2018.

Chair and Deputy Chair, Academic Board elections

Elections for Chair and Deputy Chair of Academic Board will be held in 2018.

Nominations are open from Tuesday 9 October to 3pm, Tuesday 23 October 2018.

Voting is open from Tuesday 6 November to 3pm, Tuesday 20 November 2018.
