UTS: Policy

Council approved the UTS Policy Framework in August 2005, which must be used in the development and review of policies and other instruments. All current University policies and directives are required to be published on this site, which functions as the authorised electronic repository.

Where guidelines, principles, procedures, standards and/or codes are approved by Council or Academic Board, they will continue to be published on this site. Procedural and guideline documentation that relate to specific areas of activity, such as Facilities Management are available on those local sites.

Finding policy documents

UTS policy documents are available at the following:

• Policy by classification

Alternatively, the 'search' option available on some UTS websites can be used to locate policy documents. For further assistance, email policy@uts.edu.au.

Developing UTS policy

For guidance in developing or reviewing policy documents, see UTS Policy Framework: user guide (1mb PDF).

Many policies developed prior to 2005 are now under review and have been annotated accordingly. If you need further assistance in identifying the relevant contact person for those documents, or assistance in using the Framework, email policy@uts.edu.au.
