Privacy Management Plan – 7. Disclosure of personal information outside NSW

Disclosure	Compliance	Comments
Academic transcripts are sent to other institutions or bodies at the request of former students of UTS.	Compliant with Section 26(2)	Upon application for enrolment, students authorise the institutions concerned to obtain transcripts of previous studies at UTS. Requests for transcripts from other bodies (such as prospective employers) are referred to the student concerned for approval.
Graduand lists sent to International Development Program (Education) agencies for UTS graduation ceremonies in S.E. Asia.	Compliant with Section 26(2)	Lists are required for coordination of ceremonies and are published in local newspapers. Students may have their names suppressed from newspaper lists if they wish.
Applications for enrolment are sent to specified universities overseas.	Compliant with Section 26(2)	Students submit applications for study at overseas institutions as part of the International Studies program.
Information sent to other university libraries to confirm student's 'good standing' at UTS Library.	Compliant with Section 26(2)	Students who register as borrowers at other libraries authorise those libraries to check their 'good standing' status at UTS.
