Professor Stephanie Donald will attend to speak on loss of foreign language capacity and its impact on Australia's ability to engage internationally (Attachment F).
6.6 Report on an Investigation and Systems Review of Corruption Risks Associated with HSC Take-home Assessment Tasks
An ICAC report on take-home assessment tasks for the HSC has been released. It will be discussed by the BoS in May. The Committee is invited to discuss it and consider possible approaches in universities (Attachment G).
6.7 Student Involvement in Academic Governance

6.8 Report of the Consultation on Future Directions for Public Education and Training (NSWDET)
Accreditation for teaching programs and TAFE policies that emerge will be important for universities. Ms Christine Ewan (NSW DET) will attend for discussion (Attachment H).
